02How it works

Pick the door that fits.

For candidates

Your next classroom could be in another country.

Whether you've taught abroad before or this is your first time looking, Slate Demo Org gives you the profile, the school network, and the events to meet schools that are hiring right now.

Create your free profile
  • Build your profile

Add your qualifications, teaching experience, curriculum background (IB, Cambridge, AP, National), and where you want to work. Schools browse profiles themselves, so a strong one gets you shortlisted before you've even applied.

  • Browse vacancies worldwide

See live teaching and leadership roles at partner schools. Filter by subject, age group, curriculum, salary, or location. Set alerts so a role that matches you never slips past.

  • Attend recruitment events

Join hiring fairs, online or in person, where you meet principals and hiring teams face to face. Fairs run all year across different time zones. Offers sometimes land the same day.

  • Interview, negotiate, accept

Track applications, schedule interviews, and see where every school stands. The team is there to help with negotiations and international contracts.

Free to register

Creating a profile costs nothing. You get full access to vacancies, the events calendar, and messages from schools.

Global network

Partner schools across Asia, the Gulf, Europe, and the Americas — wherever international hiring happens.

Hands-on support

A team that's worked in international education themselves, guiding you from your first application to your first day on the job.

FAQ

Questions that come up.

If something isn't covered below, get in touch. The team will come back to you.

For attendees
  • How do I register?

Every event has its own page listing the ticket types available and what each one includes. Registering creates your account, and the same account works for everything else Slate Demo Org runs.

  • Is there a cost?

It depends on the event. Some are free and some are ticketed, and the price is shown on the event page before you commit to anything.

  • Can I book for colleagues?

Yes. One person can book several places at once. Each colleague gets their own ticket and their own record of what they attended.

  • How do I get my certificate?

Attendance is recorded when you are scanned into a session. Your hours build up across every event you attend, and the certificate carries a serial your school or district can check for itself.

For schools
  • How does our school take part?

Get in touch and the team will set you up with a school profile, a stand on the floor, and somewhere to post the roles you are hiring for.

  • What can we see about candidates?

Candidates complete a full profile when they register, covering qualifications, experience and references. You can see who has shown interest in your roles before you meet them.

  • How do interviews work?

Interest runs both ways, and interviews are booked into slots at your stand in the length the organiser set, so the last hours of the day fill themselves.
